Peer Rope’s Knots, Frictions, and Rope Handling course is a one day workshop, with a focus on the building blocks of rope, to enhance your rope techniques and provide more confidence and creativity when tying. We will cover topics including:
– Basic knots and when to use them
– Frictions to lock ropes and change direction
– Rope handling, to make your tying smoother
– Exercises to inspire rope play, such as connection and energy tying.
This is an intermediate level course, so riggers must have either attended the PRC intro course, or can demonstrate understanding of basic ties including: single/double column ties.
Space is limited, and spots will be available on a first come first serve basis. Each spot is for a 2-person pair (no individual tickets). There is a 200 kr. fee per pair, which will go towards buying new mats to replace the ones that have gone missing.

Practical information: Doors open at 10:30, and the workshop starts at 11:00 sharp, so please arrive in good time. Bring your own food for lunch, drinks will be available for purchase in the bar. Wear comfortable, easy to move/tie in clothes. No photos allowed inside SMil. Be ready to learn new things in a fun, relaxed atmosphere.
