Party
SMug is hosting a Diwali party! 🪔
Diwali, the Festival of Lights, is one of the biggest celebrations across India and is traditionally about the triumph of light over darkness, good over evil, and new beginnings. Homes are lit with candles and diyas, people dress up, celebrate together, and welcome in a new year of sorts.
Diwali is actually tomorrow — but why wait?
We’re bringing the celebration forward with a SMug twist: lights, colour, dancing, dressing up, connection, and a little bit of temptation. Come celebrate the light with us… and see what happens when things get a little darker.
Doors open at 19:30 We close the doors at 20:00, so please arrive
before that or you will not get in. Going forwards we will be more
strict in enforcing this. If you have no way of arriving before 20 do
write us.
Cost: 20 kr. for members of SMil, 80+20 kr. for variable members, 200+20 kr. for non-members. We take cash or mobile pay as payment (Do note that the bar only accepts cash or physical card for entry)
Dresscode: No dresscode (but feel free to dress for the theme)
You must be 18-35 years or, if older, attend as a partner of someone
that age. If you want to bring a guest older than the age bracket, do
write to us beforehand, or you will not be let in. We will be checking
ID at the door.
At SMug’s closed events, we encourage our amazing SMug members to
bring only trusted guests whom they can wholeheartedly vouch for
(maximum 2). Your guest/ guests are an extension of you; thus, you
will be held accountable if their conduct does not align with SMil’s
and SMug’s values.
In SMug, we want everybody to be able to express their true self, so
we, of course, welcome people of all genders and sexualities at our
events.
